OKay, just heard something interesting, spirits are more... preferring of i develop Gallareue than politics and turn it into a physical world for me.
Interesting, so lets scan.
Clan has been hit pretty hard, spirit is together but due to strong co-operation with both sides in this "warm war" pre 2014 post 1991 now that they are shooting we're getting trampled by animals as a result, not so much humans fighting tho that occurs, artillery too, but for the most part its animals trampling us as they are pushed between the "cracks".
Might take a moment to figure out what to do about this.

Consulted with a clan hunter, showed him what i see, he spent a week in recuperation tent, then got up and gathered the clan and informed them that we are moving, this area is dangerous.
I agree, no other action readily available, will agree to move.

Moves 50-200 miles west and found a relatively similar plot of unused land and settled down.
Clan now surveying area and seeing if lumber actions are possible.
If so cottage construction will begin immediately.

Area feels remotely like the eastern half of the carpatian mountains, trees resemble the style i would find there, and are predominatly widely green instead of agriculturally yellow, air is also super fresh compared to previous area. Estimating previous area "Zaporizhia region".

Land seems suitable for cottages, clan beginning construction, i'm mostly observing as they do not commanding or writing events out, observing what they do and they occasioanlly ask me for mostly decorative hints about where huts would go well together and stuff of that nature, rarely "big important things" but if push comes to shove can force constitutional crisis but that would be moot as subject is currently "personal" and giving up would cause new clan leader or dissolution of clan. Anyway.
First few huts done, a few above ground normal cottages and a few half below ground viking longhouse like houses, we've been here for around 3 days now.
Most people still live in tents or wagons or similars but first houses are set up.
People have taken the potted plants and seeds they brought with them and set up a tiny bit of land, well below needed to feed clan or have meaningful trade, first attempts to see how land works and how different seeds react with the soil.
Talk of making a tiny stream from a nearby river to run through the clan tula.

children seem to be laughing and frollcing about freely.
A few guards here and there.
Little physical possessions but large stockpiles of food.
As usual for semi-nomadic people, the ability to start a settlement from scratch in a few days is par excellance.

2 weeks in now, houses have been set up, very few people still live in tents outside the main village, mostly as their housing needs are specialized ritual housing and require understanding of the lands nature it is not yet available to them so they sleep closer to the land until such a knowledge is possible.
Tiny hill, dry moat, wood fence and pike on edges.
Can see modern tools being used to make old timey things, not to make new things those are made with old tools, mostly.
Some use of chainsaws and small efficient buggy like cars to haul things for construction.
Soldiers wearing "color and shape randomly changing camoflague". (scanner darkly)
A small open mine has been made into the side of a local "mountain" (hill), there are no deep tunnels of much note but the entire side of the hill is being carved out like you would take a bite out of it, usage is rocks and gravel for construction as well as polished cut stones for ornamentation. Effect on environment is low.
There are a few wells in the tula and and the tiny stream from earlier is now indeed running through the tula.
Hard to get population numbers, would say "small early bronze age clan with access to modern facilities and tools but preferring bronze age, learning everything tho".

I would say most people are cro-magnon as their race.

There are a few others present as well. First trader arrived. Immediately takes great interest in our cut gems. Keep in mind these are made by randomly breaking a rockface into smaller pieces then polishing random good looking stones into "gems". thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/assorted-polished-rocks-6709191.jpg

Trader doesnt want to show how interested he is in the pebbles, inspects the rest of the goods and takes a quick look around tula, as much as the guards and clansmen allow the trade to see.
After a while we sit down and start discussing terms, clan is represented by a knowleable clan trade. I observe.
Short discussion it quickly ends in an assortment of small trinkets exchanging hands as well as their stated interest in our agricultural production.
This is to be expected currently.
Clan agrees to trade and says they'll keep agriculture in mind.
Clan powow follows.
After a while we conclude that instead of farming we'll look at hunting and gathering for a sizable while.
A few clansmen change their status from Thane to Cottar just to take advantege of the ample good farming available.
Most of our seeds germinate well here, some less so, and some not at all without specific care and highly specialized situation. Food and spices and medicine production is safe with this.
Local environmental protection agency has agreed to a area around us where the local game and forestry laws are under clan control. In exchange we get occasional police patrols in clan lands, these should be limited to no more than 3, preferrably 2 visits at most a day, also preferring long pauses in visits if possible.

"So you're saying you'll bring wolfs back here?" *curious alarm*
"Not only that but we believe that all the life that was in this part of the world in the deep forest will be better of if returned." *with some determination still sadness at present state*
"So how much do you need?"
"Does a days brisk walk from the tula in all directions feel appropriate?"
"Sounds about right, so its settled, we'll be back next year with the estimates, this forest is now yours."

Music casually plays through the tula from various stringed, fluted, and "Percussive" instruments.

Second merchant appears, eats at a few places, causes a few cultural incidents, then inspects a few goods, we show him IT stuff 30 years ahead of his time, he is amazed but we cant sell as it would be too much for him, he goes back to the pebbles, fills a small bag with them and the trader says its 20, they pay, politely and to the point thank and depart.
Hmm.
