This will sort of be my journal for my development of psychic smelling. I've been wanting to smell my Tulpa all over, so I have caught glimpses of what he smells like. Not like human and not like a dog. A little stinky, but I really like that. It excites me. It's a very faint stink, so it's actually pleasurable. I've focused so far 2-3 hours, and keeping going. I do notice when I go for like 15 minutes it knocks me out. It must take a lot of my energy to focus in on a remote smell. But even fictional characters have a smell. That is unless it's the artist I'm picking up on. But my Tulpa didn't smell human. So I don't know. I am now focusing on lavender. It's a smell I know from the past. I can imagine a smell and have that a the edge of my mind. So I can sort of manifest a smell in my mind. But the clear smelling is about tuning into actual energy patterns, and picking up on them. When I look at the images of lavendar fields, I feel their energy pushing on my face, around where my nose is. I just have to tune in, and open up the chakras. I must be part wolf wanting to develop my smell like this. Lavender Fields

After looking at lavender for about 30 minutes, I am realizing I still have a dense feeling energy of the smell of the Tulpa around me. They say everything in moderation. When I focused so long on my Tulpa, I took on some of that energy. Now I can't get any lavender smell. Only my Tulpa. And even then that's very faint. I almost can't smell anything at all. It's just enough for me to notice that it's getting in the way.
So I may have to work on a way to clear my field of previous scents before starting on a new one.

I am now getting the faint smell of pine/cannabis when looking a the lavender. It's like 1-2/10 strength. Very faint. But it's now more floral than the Tulpa, so my smell is changing over. It's taken about 45 minutes of focusing on the lavender to begin to have it smell like pine. Not really like lavender yet.
Pine/cannabis is a recent memory because I've been smoking/vaping CBD flower, which has a pine smell. But not smoking now so none is in the air.
I'm noticing sometimes I pick up a scent memory, and sometimes it's smelling the thing.
I'm hoping this will enhance my real sense of smell. Sense of smell next to sight and then hearing is my favorite sense.

Another 15 minutes later. The faint smell 2/10 strength when it comes seems to be trying to tune into the lavender smell. It smells sweet, but not quite lavender. It's a pleasant smell. Maybe I'm becoming acclimated to the vibration of what I'm smelling. It smells light and clean, where the Tulpa smelled more dirty and heavy. But not really dirty, just heavier.

I'm going to take a break now to give my brain a rest. I feel it tensed up a bit. Not quite a headache, but there is tension there. It feels like at times my occipital lopes in the back of my brain activate, which is weird as they are for sight. Not sure where in the brain the smell center is. This now feels like my frontal lobes. And this practice is making me sneeze.

I took about an hour break and am back to looking at lavender. I will do a meditation later on opening myself up. My mom fried some food earlier so the smell of cooking oil is in the air. I'll just have to work around that.

Funny, now I taste cucumber. I really hope that psychic smelling becomes reliable like a sense. And it smells syrupy sweet. Like honeysuckle. Just faintly though.

I'm switching to white sage which will have a spicier scent.

Within 5 minutes I started smelling sage burning, though faint. Like 2.5/10. It's not enough to identify it as sage exactly, but it smells similar.
I'm finding you have to tune into the scent, and you overshoot it at times, and have to go back.
Before I had posted here, I focused yesterday like 2 hours on the Tulpa smell. So I've been at it a number of hours. Sage was easier because it is a spicier smell I think.
Not only do I look at the picture of them, but I visualize smelling the herb in my mind with my nose right against it.
Maybe one out of 20-30 breaths I can catch a whiff that faintly resembles sage.

I asked the Tarot with one card how my psychic smelling was going.
I got Knight of Cups - Creativity, romance, charm, imagination, beauty.
I am finding beauty in this smelling. If I can get good at one thing, this is what I would like.

I am finding now I don't have to always actually sniff/inhale to get the psychic scent. When the energy rests on the field of my nose, I get a psychic imprint of what it smells like. It's more like an inward smell than an outward one.
It's very fascinating how it is coming in through the woodwork so to speak. It's like working a piece of wood.
It is very much still hit or miss. Mostly miss. Most of the time I get no smell at all.
I have to stay finely balanced though with my focus, because it can easily shift to something smelly. Like it has done a couple of times.
If things have similar vibration, even if they have completely different smells, I may pick up the two.
Rather than smelling with my nose, I am smelling with my frontal lobes. Though I occasionally pick it up with my nose too. Then it's like a scent memory, remembering a smell.

After another hour today, I'm taking another break to go meditate. Give my frontal lobes/3rd eye a chance to rest from the scent of sage.

After a 45 minute break, I'm now back to smelling anthros. Looking at new ones rather than just my Tulpa. Seeing if they smell different. But I don't get a consistent scent. Nothing really much now. Will have to see.
When I look at the picture of an anthro, I see him start to move slightly. So this psychic work is affecting other senses too.
I'm waiting to find an anthro who uses scented shampoo or cologne to see how that smells.
Maybe I'll find a cologne that doesn't exist in this world.

It took about 20 minutes of focusing on the new anthro to get a single whiff. A little stinky, but in a new way. His crotch doesn't smell like human. Not so high-pitched and sweaty. More like a mushroom type smell. But different. It was faint, like 3/10 maybe. Brief, like 1/2 second. I just catch a glimpse that's sometimes a shocker to my nose. This scent was in my nose instead of my frontal lobe. I'm even catching scent when I'm not looking at him right now. It's not just sexuality that I'm trying to smell. It like lets me know him, and it warms my heart to get a scent. And now I switched to trying to smell him as a whole. The thing is that's hard because I have to go with strong smells like his crotch and butt in order to get just a glimpse.

I caught about 1-second smell of his musk. It wasn't very strong, but I could tell if it were full strength it would probably be pungent.
I think by being able to smell them, it makes me feel like I belong as part of them.
Too bad I only catch 1/2 - 1 second glimpses of scent. And only like once every 10-20 minutes of focusing.
I'm tired now. I think I'm going to call it a night.
So it went from taking like 3 hours to get a glimpse of scent, to taking like 10 minutes to get a glimpse of a scent. All in like 2 days.
